Many people tend to just hang up the phone if they answer a scam, spam, or robocall, or they decline the calls and go about their lives. However, this needs to change. It is extremely important that we realize the necessity of reporting these calls to the FTC – which you can do right inside of our free PrivacyStar app.

It helps the DoJ rain justice down upon these scammers.

They won’t stop unless you report them.
Many of us have this mindset of, “Oh, someone else will report them.” But what if everyone is thinking that same thing, and no one is actually reporting the number? Also, the more the merrier! That just gives the FTC more reason to blacklist the number. And remember, if you don’t report the numbers, the FTC may never know.
Your reports matter.
The FTC actually listens to you when you file complaints. Every number you submit is released by the FTC throughout the telecommunications industry. This list of numbers helps carriers and companies build their list of numbers to mark ask scam, spam, and nuisance.
